Carpet is the one surface people judge with their feet before their eyes. We start with the room: who walks on it, whether it takes sun, whether it has to survive a dog or a teenager, and how quiet you want the house to be.
From there the shortlist narrows fast. Density and fibre matter more than the photograph, which is why samples go home with you.
