A rare statistic,
on purpose
MAC Flooring & Interiors was established in 2010 and built from the ground up by its founder, Kristin Giebler.

Kristin came to flooring from interior design and business operations, which is an unusual pairing in a trade that mostly promotes from the warehouse floor. It shaped everything about how the studio runs.
Her priority has been changing how people see this industry by showing what a female-led construction firm can offer, and by retiring approaches that had gone stale long before she arrived.

So the showroom was designed to be inspiring, pretty and homelike, rather than racks and racks of samples for customers to browse aimlessly. The point was never to transact with the next buyer. It was to give them an experience they had not had before.

Starting from nothing, Kristin worked at making a mark in the community and at helping other people in their own small-business pursuits. MAC was welcomed into the local area with open arms, and the company has been built on that reputation and on high ethical standards ever since.
